Mitoreru, Japan Diary
Japan, 2024Mitoreru is a zine inspired by the Japanese verb 見取れる (mitoreru), meaning "to be captivated by" or "to be fascinated by." It captures the feeling of being absorbed by something visually enchanting, like a dream.
Blending abstract images from my travels in Japan with fragments of text, the project is a playful, experimental exploration of textures and mixed media, aiming to break free from the perfection of a traditional photobook.
